In 2024 I visited Naples for an exhibition of my photographs at the Magazzini Fotografici organized by the photographer and artist, Yvonne De Rosa. I was swallowed into the belly of Naples. 

Energized by its visual clamour, I began photographing this city which is alive, tragic, comic, and eternally hopeful. All the remnants of its civilizations are layered in its streets and passages.  Within this accumulation of the holy, the ancient, commerce, and the thrown out are the personal shrines to San Gennaro, Padre Pio, the Madonna, Diego Maradona, the twins: Piaggio and Vespa, laundry, pizza and tourism.  

Here in, I have attempted to create a memento of my delirious experience.
